Welcome our newest downtown business
The Table Bar, 207 Water Street

You may have noticed the bright blue building with a brand new business on Water Street! The Table Bar opened its doors last weekend and officially joined the lineup of great places to gather in downtown Gardiner. They serve traditionally made and natural wines by the glass in their shop or you can grab a bottle to take home and enjoy on your patio in the warm sunshine. You'll find a variety of reds and whites to suit any palate. They also serve a small rotating variety of beer, sake and cider.

While gathering at Table Bar with friends you can order a seasonal snack plate or charcuterie board to enjoy with your beverages or bring along with you. Stop by and learn more about the specialty wines available, enjoy some lively conversation and welcome Table Bar to the community!

Loving Logan: Remembering a beloved community member

You might notice several of our businesses have signs in their window with 'Loving Logan' on them. These signs are in honor of one of Gardiner’s biggest supporters and advocates, and a role model volunteer. Logan Johnston past away last weekend and our community is morning together in this devastating loss. Logan believed in Gardiner long before most others did, and worked for decades to help grow our river city. More than just a cheerleader, Logan made things happen - and was never afraid to ask the tough questions to help better our community. You may have walked the Oaklands Farm Road, where he lived with his wife Phyllis Gardiner, and received a smile and a wave from Logan as he was tending to the cattle, building fences or making hay. You may have enjoyed listening to him play guitar and sing at various venues in Gardiner, Hallowell and surrounding towns. Logan's kind smile and generous sprit will be missed by many.
