Loving Logan: Remembering a beloved community member
You might notice several of our businesses have signs in their window with 'Loving Logan' on them. These signs are in honor of one of Gardiner’s biggest supporters and advocates, and a role model volunteer. Logan Johnston past away last weekend and our community is morning together in this devastating loss. Logan believed in Gardiner long before most others did, and worked for decades to help grow our river city. More than just a cheerleader, Logan made things happen - and was never afraid to ask the tough questions to help better our community. You may have walked the Oaklands Farm Road, where he lived with his wife Phyllis Gardiner, and received a smile and a wave from Logan as he was tending to the cattle, building fences or making hay. You may have enjoyed listening to him play guitar and sing at various venues in Gardiner, Hallowell and surrounding towns. Logan's kind smile and generous sprit will be missed by many.
Visit https://my.gather.app/remember/logan-johnson for information on services or to leave a message for the family
